Mahler’s Symphony No. 2, the ‘Resurrection’ – without a doubt the pinnacle of the nineteenth century symphonic music – will be performed for the first time in Williamsport. Combining an enlarged orchestra with several local choirs including the Williamsport Civic Chorus and the Lycoming College Choir, this monumental work will leave you breathless and mesmerized. A unique opportunity to hear the best musicians and singers in the region all united to perform one of the greatest, most profound, and transcendent symphonies of all time.
